This is a portrait of my girl friend. Painted in Photoshop, didn't use photo reference. I don't really know what to paint in the background though. Is the style too old? I promised her I was going to paint her, so... Anyways, have't done any kind of painting for almost half year now. I was going to quit but then you see, I just can't help.

Let me know what you think.
Crits on me are welcome.

BTW, wish all you a great Thanks Giving.

Cannon Girl

Ok, thanks to anyone who reads this, if there is any :-)
After putting so much time and work, all I get is this piece of “crab” (Since it does look like crab, I should have called it Cannon Crab, instead of Cannon Girl.) I think I’d better go back to 2D forum, but for now, please say anything you want.
Sorry for the Lorum Ipsum at the top, I was too lazy to write up a description for it, but I will eventually do so.
Photoshop was only used when creating some textures and making the layout. I did this piece mainly to find out how to use texture editor in XSI, so any suggestion on the texture will be great, other crits will always be welcome.
Thanks

Leaving Neaus

This is my 2nd – Carlendour -- thread. Made from scratch in Photoshop
... just to let the story continue ..
Description:
Every 10 year, the seminary of Neaus selects / adopts a baby and assigns one of the young apprentices in the seminary to take the baby to the farthest outpost to the west of the Neaus. Purpose is to train up young master (from a baby) to aid the seminary’s power position in the dominion of the country. In the picture, the apprentices (girl in the center) and her assistant are leaving the city. The guy to the left is the guide.
...hum
Enjoy

Mosando's Garden (carlendour)

This is my first – Carlendour -- thread. Let’s call it a personal project or a novel, Lmao.
I will be doing other series of paintings for the world of Carlendour as well, I mean later.
This piece was done quite a long time ago, so I don’t mind if you say it’s crappy. LoL
Here is the description:
Located at the other side of the Ocean from the city Neaus(City of revolution), It is a place where only the Giants could reach. It used to be a garden growing the most unique plants guarded by 6 giant gardeners. It is now a ruin left with nothing but dust.
Hum… Crits up!
